Here's a test as I guess you are not naturally English.
I was in a bar an an English person told this joke - me being English laughed but my French friend couldn't see what was funny.
A man went into a bakers for a loaf of bread, the baker said do you want a brown or white loaf? the man said it doesn't matter l have got my bike outside.
How can anyone explain what is funny in that unless you are born and bred British
:-)
