Even in the bible, those who "served god", were often destroyed by god in one of his many temper tantrums. So, how the bible says it, there really isn't a way to serve him, god gets mad, he won't hesitate to wipe us all out again for the 20th time?

There are many Gods that had created the Earth
Some Gods prefer to stay in the middle east forever while other Gods were forgotten
Some Gods travel with the people = Ancestral worshiping
Some Gods allow their followers to get beat up for thousand of years = Muslims by the Christians
Some Gods are very peaceful and people ignore them = Tibet
Some Gods prefer to keep their people stupid for ever = Africans and Latin Indians
but all God wanted us to help others = not killing women and children in Israel or Iraq

To serve His children is to serve God. God is there in every living being. So have a good attitude towards every organism.

In order to 'serve God' one must take the steps necessary to deliberately induce mental illness in oneself so as to believe that you're actually serving anybody but your own ego.
To serve 'God' is to service the pleasure center in your brain. God is a drug. An addiction. When Pentecostals sing songs about Jesus and clap their hands in a communal frenzy, thousands of endorphins are released in their brains. This 'feeling' creates a 'high' - comparable to the narcotic effects of heroin........

To love him with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength. And to love your neighbor as yourself.
It is impossible to serve God without first turning from sin and asking jesus for that strength through the holy spirit, through Gods mercy.
Without the truth, we are all blind. And because of the increase in Wickedness the love of most has grown cold.

love him with all your heart and all your soul and all yourmind and all your strength. Read His Word and DO IT. That ishow you serve Him - by doing what He says and by having a livng and intimate and personal relationship with Him through Jesus HIs Son, the Saviour of this world.
It isn ot about a lot of dont's but a lot of do's and finding the true meaning and joy of life in doing just that.
It is about knowing HIm for who He is - loving Dad, Friend, Healer, etc.
It is the cololest thing in life..... try it!!

You need to be more specific. In what regards do you mean "serve God?". Do you mean slaughtering animals for sacrifice in His name, or just simply being a decent human being?

Jesus christ died for you to be alive
the least u can do is
read the bible
follow it
and pray regularly
not only when u WANT Gods help
he is not ur "get out of jail" card
or ur help life line
believe in him

how do you serve anything that you love..
Be obedient to his word, and I don't call it loopholes, , but the Bible says even as saved people we are yet sinners, but we have an advocate with the Father through Jesus Christ, but that dose not mean we can go and do willful sin, but we will make mistakes and stumble along the way, and then we can ask forgiveness, and we can be forgiven.
