Head and Shoulders contains aluminium which can cause scalp problems in itself. Try using something like T-Gel which will cure your problem rather than suppress it. It is expensive but you should only need the one bottle and shouldn't have to keep using it!

Unfortunately Christina, dandruff is fungal condition (which sounds gross I know) that is incurable.

All you can do is relieve the symptoms of dandruff (itching and flaking of the scalp), the only way you can do this is to use a medicated shampoo like Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue 5 and Neutrogena T-Gel.
Once you stop using an anti-dandruff shampoo you basically stop the treatment so the condition returns.

Hair can stop responding to shampoos and conditioners over time (whether you have dandruff or not) so it is a good idea to switch brands. I'd recommend having a look at your supermarket or beauty supply store to see what other brands and variations there are of anti-dandruff shampoos. That way you can switch brands whenever you need a change.

Hope this helps.

dandruff shampoo like head and shoulders suppress the symptoms of dandruff. Recently researchers have found that some dandruf is caused by a fungus infection. The fungus can be killed by a drug called Ketoconazole. This is available over the counter as a shampoo. It seems expensive but it works.
Here is a link to a brand of shampoo for it.

It worked for me. so it might be worth a try.
