For the first part--all branches of the military prohibit oposite sexes stayin overnight in the others room. Plain and simple. As for living off base or in base housing, as soon as you were married, and turned in a copy of your marriage certificate to the personnel office and notified your chain of command, you should have been given paperwork to fill out to be able to recieve BAH/BAS, or to go to the base housing office. This is even more important now that you are pregnant. I know the Army is different than the Navy in some aspects, but at the minimum notify your platoon sargeant and company first sergaent that you're expecting and have the paperwork from medical with you.
Now the second part--check with the Army hospital, they are required to have these resources available to you. Also you're company 1st SGT should be able to get this stuff.
Just remember that when things like this change your status notify your platoon sgt and 1st Sgt.
Best of Luck!
GO NAVY!!

my husband and i were both in the same unit when we were still dating. we used to sleep in each others rooms and leave before pt. you are not supposed to have overnight guests. i think its stupid. when we were stationed in germany and inprocessing, we were not allowed to share a room as a married couple, so we had to get a place at the hotel. if you are married, you can live off post. you have to submit the proper paperwork so you can get BAH. when i was in, it was a 4187. check with your orderly room or call finance. since you are pregnant, you will have to move out anyway, so you may want to find a place before your husband leaves so he can help you get settled in. from what i've read, you can move out as soon as 28 weeks pregnant and receive the BAH without dependents rate and upon delivery of your baby, change the amount to the full BAQ. you should contact your chain of command or housing office to see what their regulations are concerning. each installation may have different regs. good luck!

Don't create more problems for your self. In the military the annotated law of regulations(Military Law) is followed by guidelines and if you are offered to move off post and choose not to , then it is your problem not the Governemnt.
Your trying to impliment new regulation to work around your directives...that's funny. You should know better than that!

The best thing to do is to talk to your Chain of Command, but go thru the proper channels. Also, check the following Links.

Discuss the matter with your superior because it is the only way to know the status of your marriage and the options that you want.

your post dorm reg probably forbids overnight guests of any sex. Your OB doc should tell you what you can and cant do, the profile should reflect that also.
