Tylenol and Motrin (ibuprofen) are both good at reducing fever for the short term. You can take both at the same time.

My 2 year old son has had many fevers, and the doctor always told us to knock it down with Tylenol and Motrin. If one doesn't work, just do the other too. Don't exceed dosage maximums for either one without your doctor's approval.

Alternate Tylenol and Motrin. I remember when I was little, I was in the hospital and they put me in a tub of ice-cold water to reduce my fever of 105.
Keep cool and take the fever reducing meds and if that does not work, please, call a doctor. You can always call the emergency room at your local hospital and talk to a nurse.

take the normal pain killer medication, tepid bath then cold wash cloths placed around wrists and under feet. a cold wash cloth on forehead is also good. if its a high fever then these will need replacing about every 10 minutes. never let a fever get out of control.

if bathing is unavailible, a light massage with rubbing alcohol will reduce fever temporalily, avoid the face cause it stinks, isntead the arms and legs are good places.

An ice pack or cold towel on the face

plenty of fluid, lots... pedialyte or gatorade...

change to summer bedding (just sheets, no covers, etc.)

there's fever reducers, like Tylenol flu (no aspirin for children, it can kill them)

Sponge bath with cold water; light cotton clothing; drink lots of water/fluids. Take a fever medication like panado.

Tylenol or Advil. I've also filled the bathroom sink with luke warm water and added approx. 1/4 cup of isopropyl alcohol and given my child a sponge bath with it. The evaporation on the skin seems to help.
