Spanish is one of the best languages you would have to learn if you want to work and succesfully take advantage of all the opportunities that are in Latin America, including Spain and the USA.

If you want to go to specific countries, I recommend Japanese or Chinese.

As You may know, there are 7 international languages: English, Spanish, Arab, Chinese, Russian, French, and some else, I don't remember, maybe German?... ok.
If you know any of these languages it would be good only for YOU. But, assuming that You know English, I would suggest to learn another big asian language (russian is as much important as Chinese and Arab in Asia). So, make your choice between these three. I think you don't need to learn european language as everybody there speak and understand english.
I know 3 languages and 3 basic level of Turkish, Arab and Chinese. My natives are Russian and Kazakh and my english is pretty fluent.
I am a little proud of it. So is wishing to you, pal.

So of course English comes first
then I would say in no particular order as it depends where you want to work :
- Spanish for South America, Spain and part of the US
- French for Canada, France and a lot of African countries
- Mandarin (Chinese) because it is definitly a most today.

If you don't know where you will be doing business in the future learn either Chinese or Spanish. Learning a less commonly taught foreign language could be and avantage, but there is no guarantee that it will be useful.

Assuming you are already good in English, you need to learn Chinese (mandarin) for economic trade purposes.
