Quite honestly, I'd NEVER use Nice & Easy because it's full of metallic dyes that can damage your hair. Not only that, but anything that's not a PROFESSIONAL brand may not give you consistent results.

Ash is supposedly the opposite of red tones, but with a non-professional product, you never know what you may get, like a lot of my clients who have come to me for colour correction after they use brands like Nice & Easy or Feria or Garnier.

I used that colour and it came out kind of purple. A few washes generally settles the purpleness down, but Nice 'n Easy fades real fast, so your red tints would probably be back before you know it. Loreal or Garnier would be better, but remember no colours come out quite like they look on the box.
