No I don't think it is funny. That's all that was needed, God talking and someone listening.

Yes, it would be funny to me, too, if I were an agnostic like you.
Of course an agnostic missed the point, or could not think that it would be disaster if it was given down there where the Israelites were camping. Even then, they were so scared and felt awesome. Nobody but the prophet Moses was allowed to come near the present of God and remain alive.
This no agnostic can understand, and naturally would appear funny.
On the other hand, if an agnostic held an apple in his hand which he is eating and enjoying it, and then I remarked: How funny for that man to enjoy such a sour and undelicious apple! I would be considered very stupid.
Likewise, how would an agnostic who never studied the Bible understand and enjoy its content.
Happy laughing and enjoy the fun!

No - many religions write about how the top of mountains are of some place to achieve religious enlightenment. I love to hike mountains myself and I would suggest that you give it a shot yourself - it is a wonderfully spiritual experience as well as good exercise.

Good Luck!!!

They should be called the 10 committments, if God wanted us to do something so bad he would not sit back and watch us break it. The point is, if you love God you will want to do those ten things.

Well, you'll find it even funnier to think that God is everywhere and sees everything... something to think about when you on the toilet or masturbating in your room...someone is watching you.
