I think becoming smart about what goes in your mouth. You will need to become a "label reader", a lot of the time products use peanut oil and you would never know it unless you read all the ingredients. Make an appointment with a registered dietitian to help you know all the things to avoid. Depending upon the severity of your reaction to peanuts you may need to carry an epi-pen with you, at least probably benedryl.

why no pancakes? you lost me there, peanuts and anything that it says on the label has been processed with peanuts in the same factory, most chocolate candies have been in the same processing area as peanuts, and many other nuts are processed in the same places so it will say may contain small ammounts of peanuts, on the label someplace, you have to read it all.

There are usually warnings on the packages of certain foods that say that they were "manufactured in a plant that processes peanuts" for this very reason.

I don't know if you have a rinitis or sinusitis, I have that illness and i have allergic to peanuts too. If you have any of this illnesses you shold avoid the pineapple, I have gone to several doctors and almost all the doctors told me that. I don't think pancakes, because I have eaten them and didn't make me sick. You have to ask to your doctor too.

i'm assuming that your allergies are not that bad then if you are just trying to think of things that you shouldn't have? most packages say "processed in a plant that may expose the product to peanuts" or something like that...ie - m&m's....

Although you can try to avoid the obvious foods, please make sure you bring your EpiPen with you. Because, you will never be 100 percent sure!
