An unofficial explanation exists for F***
Which means Fornication Under Consent from the King
This goes back to the 17th Century when it was an exercise in the British Monarchy not to have children to control population measures.
So people who intended to do it, had to get consent from the King it seems!! So there would be a board put up from the Royal Empire to those families that were allowed to do it.
This could be a kind of a joke too for all that you know, no known proof exists for this.
