some religions do belive in such a process similar called reincarnation. depending on how you behave and act in this life shapes what you will become in you next, say you are a serial killer you may be born again as a cockroach, but if you are a good person you may come back as another human but with more opportunities to do well or riches or happiness than your last life..

Sorry, it's a nice thought, but we have no evidence of this. Also, consider how much the population of humanity has fluctuated over the last few million years. We're at our highest point now, over 6 billion - are there new souls created just for the extra billion or so that weren't there before?

I agree with this concept but I think there is a place (the Otherworld) where we stay, feast, and review our life lessons between incarnations. Then the soul chooses another life to learn more and the memory is reset again.

Yeah... so what if?
But then again, that's not even a likely scenario because that would mean that the population of the earth would never grow - and we all know that it is growing! So where do all these new people, (and souls), keep coming from?

I'm Roman Catholic and many Catholics believe in reincarnation, but thanks to free will, we can also choose not to believe in it. I personally believe it's very possible, but my heart doesn't WANT to believe since that would mean that upon my own death it's very likely those that have gone before me won't be waiting in the life after this one. (Reincarnation is why the Catholic Church almost forbids cremation, in the belief the body must be buried whole.)

Why? A bunch of electric impulses would have a hard time keeping any kind of unity. Show me the soul, and I'm with you.

You would have to ask why are some in their spirit form and why are some reborn.I do not believe in reincarnation,it has to many questions.Besides I would have to say that is the least of my worries.
