I am attending a formal Christmas holiday celebration and the invitation says to bring a minimum $25 unisex wrapped gift for a game (I'm thinking on the lines of Dirty Santa). I'm totally clueless about what I should get! Any ideas? I'm trying to avoid the old gift card thing. Thanks!

A bottle of wine, or a gift set along the lines of that. We did something similar at my work Christmas party, and the most popular gifts seemed to be either wine or a few people had gift sets with nice liquiors and glasses, etc. A little gift basket type of thing. . . .Like you said though, gift cards are the most common!

a bottle of wine
a set of two pretty wine or champagne glasses
a tea mug, with a tea filter and tea tin
a foldable umbrella (a good one!!!)
