Wow, the story of this mother is very sad, I feel for her.....I agree with you 100%.....I live on the border and talk with illegals frequently.....I never ask them, but I just know because of what they tell me....Anyways, the ones who have told me they are illegal, would give their right arm to be legal.....They just want to live and work here, and not be in fear of getting caught....

First of all I really doubt that they got into the military on a fake ID. The government would have done a back ground check on them first. They don't just let you in like you seem to think. If this women wouldn't become an American then why is she still here?If they want to become an American then more power to them. But stop complaining about how nothing is fair to you and start learning the English language and learn to read it. Get insurance, health and auto, and pay freaking taxes like the rest of us. Oh and to get into the military they would have to have more then a SSN {social security number} , they would have to have a birth certificate as proof they were Americans. Please stop this BS you people dish out, like your some type of SAINT doing us a favor. And yes they can choose to be an American all they have to do is apply for it. See WEB site at ; www.uscitizenship.info. Stop using excuses.

The decision to become a USC is not that of the government but of the person wanting to become a USC. The government has rules, regulation, policy on steps and requirements to obtain US citizenship via naturalization. This is a great country, which is evident by the influx of both legal and illegal immigration.
If aliens don't want to become citizens of this country, then don't. But I believe they have the choice to leave any darn time they want if they are not happy here.
As far as the two sons, I am sorry for the one that died but for his efforts he was posthumously awarded US citizenship. The other is lucky he didn't get prosecuted for using a fake ID. Fair, I think it is. They were cognizant of what they were doing and nobody forced them into this situation.

I am sure that a great deal of Mexicans and Hispanics would love to be Citizens of the United States of America.
However, you cannot prove that to me when you have the following:
1.) You have people who refuse to learn at least basic English. What's worse is these scum dare to propose Spanish as an alternative language to everyone they speak to just to make it convienient for them. Did the Irish or German or Japanese immigrants ask everyone to learn their languages for their convienence?
AND
2.) You have people who upon hearing that the USA plans to enforce its immigration laws decide to march out, shout "Viva Mexico" and wave the Mexican Flag... all with no sight of Old Glory. And no this is not like Saint Patrick's Day with Americans of Irish descent waving their flags in pride, these are scum defying the government in favor of a foreign country (a.k.a treason).
So they want to be Americans... well they can prove it then by ending their pro-Mexico (or pro-whatever country other than the USA) treason.

Unfortunely Fairness had nothing to do with the case mentioned ,but LAW .Two rights don't make up for one transgression, Of course it was a sad senario if that was the case,Immigrants ONLY has to comply with the law,NOT give up their Lang, culture, or their hertiage!!!!!! We cannot mold them into what our idea of an American is . IF you travel ANYWHERE in the world, and people and or official see that you are from the US , they say Oh you are an American!! They dont judge you by your RACE but by your Nationality

Then why don't they learn to speak English, adapt to the American way of life and go through the propper channels inorder to become a US Citizen??
They do have a choice to become a US Citizen or not. If gov't does not accept them, then there is a valid reason!!!

Let me guess, he made a fake ID, hacked into the social security database and created a SSN for him, and hacked into DNS database and created a citizenship entry for him too right?
Your story is crap. You can't just join the military with a fake ID. They do check more than your fake plastic ID card to verify who you are. It's not a 7/11. Make a more believable sob story next time.

Your story is full of BS. The military does background checks for starters. Second of all military service during wartime is grounds to obtain U.S. citizenship. So while your liberal heart is bleeding try telling a story that is believable.
