Corruption is everywhere in the United States.

If the Vice makes a bust and lands over 1 million dollars in cash that momney is releasewd back on the streets and it also pays the Vice ovetime to help compenstae the war against drugs.

I know for a fact a certain County that releases drugs back on the street after a bust to make more money since their budget is at an all time low they need more money and that is where it comes from.

Yes. Corruption is standard operating procedure in many parts of the world. Your question sounds as if this surprises you. Unfortunately, not everyone who takes a vow to uphold the law, does so. We don't live in a perfect world.

I'm from NYC, and have personally known dozens of cops over the years. Every single one of them was clean to the core. Sadly, this high standard of personal integrity is not the case everywhere, particularly in poorer countries where drug money is much more lucrative than a regular paycheck.....and not participating is as good as a death sentence.

Yes, it is said that some other countries really have huge problems with that. The drug organizations end up being power entities in themselves.
