Well, do you feel anything toward him. Was it a in the moment kind of thing? These are the things you need to be asking yourself.
Don't read into the wonderful too much, sure it was a great kiss, but that feeling can play tricks on you. It has happened to me.
Figure out what you want out of the relationship and ask him what he wants and if you both want different things then I wouldn't progress with a relationship right now. Wait and see if it was just the passion of a moment or if you really do care about this person and want to get back together.
My fiance and I kissed and it was about 2 months later before we decided to go out... take your time decided where to go with this.
If it meant nothing you will know and then I wouldn't be so keen to try it again.

No not really, I mean you might, but I've kissed my ex a couple times after we broke up and the only time I had feelings for him was the first time we kissed after we broke up. But you might, just think about what it would be like to go out with him again. If you wouldnt mind then you still have some feelings for him.

Ok, me and my ex have had an instance like that. we were both kind of drunk at the time, so it might have a lot to do with that. but i really didnt think about it too much, so i guess it really didnt mean too much. it seems like you are thinking about this kiss a lot more than i thought about my experience, so it seems like you do like him still. its up to you whether or not you want to get back together.

Sometimes it helps to give that one final kiss to say goodbye and to help let go. Dont think to much about it, it seems like your a caring person, if he wants you back he'll come to you!
But he is your ex you broke up for a reason, don't forget why you did that.
