I'd say it depends on the actual ages, if someone is 19 and having a relationship with a 12 year old, it's obviously not only wrong but illegal. If someone is 45 and having a relationship with someone that is 38, I would say there is nothing wrong with that at all.

You being 18 and him being 25 isn't really bad but if you are asking the question it sounds as if you already feel there is too much of a gap between the two of you.

My past relationship was with someone ahead of me as well. He's 13 years older. It really is not that easy at first for you have to take into consideration a lot of things. But, it's definitely how you handle the situation maturely even if you're way younger than him. This may be a big test on how strong your relationship is and how much both of you are willing to sacrifice to make it work.

Why not?
As long as you are legal and you're both happy.

There are numerous relationships that SUCK!, despite both people being the same age.

So don't let numbers screw you up.

Besides, the older you get, the less seven years seems like a difference at all.

Take account all his motives. Is he only after you because youre young? If he is one of those guys, he'll leave you when you're 30 and he's 37. If he truly loves you for you (your personality) and you just happen to be 7 years apart, it's not that big of a deal.

YESSSS!!! Wait. you're 18. So you started seeing him when you were 11? Was he your first kiss, ect? That's cute....

that also might be why this lasted for seven years.

Maybe this is why people should wait till marriage? Firsts make things LAST...

My friend is in the exact same situation.

She, 18, and a man, 25, are falling in love.

I fully support them.

(Is this you, Emily?)
