i have stayed in all the hotels in Niphat Uthit 2. pasific,new world,kosit,siam city,cathay,rama, and many more.none has a old photos of hatyai.

In the reception of the Park Hotel on Niphat Uthit 2 there are still some photos of Hat Yai about 50 years ago - don't forget it's a very new town - as well as photos of the flood in 2000.
Apart from that, another possibility might be the Museum of Southern Cultural Studies on Koh Yoh Island in the middle of Sogkhla Lake.

Did you try the city library? They should have a bunch there. If not, try the university library. They definitely have some.
