I see what you're saying. I'm going to be real here. Real rape is undeniable... it's painful, it's degrading, it's humiliating, and it's permanently damaging to a woman.
However, there is a gray area, and yes, there are mixed messages not only in movies and media, but also in the bedroom. It IS A FACT that many people, women and men included, do get sexually stimulated and get off on the idea of being raped or "taken" against their will. Rough sex and roleplaying "forceful sex" is the number one fantasy among women.
There are different reasons for this:
1. Women are still more afraid to express themselves sexually than men. The common "rape" fantasy is a way for them to express it while not having to feel guilty, responsible, or slutty for it. In other words, these types of women have a form of insecurity.
2. You'd be surprised to know that many women who have rape fantasies were sexually molested/abused as children. Childhood sexual abuse can turn into adulthood stimulation. This space is too small to explain why... check out some psychology books.
3. Most women are attracted to men who are 'strong' and dominating. It's in our genes. We want the alpha male. That's how we survive. That's why being held down can send intense sexual signals to our brain.
As for women screaming out for pleasure in real life after being held down without her permission, no. The key word is "without her permission". Women who are stimulated by the whole rape fantasy thing usually only do so with partners that they love and trust, and they give their permission. BOTH parties KNOW that it's ok and wanted. If not... it's real rape, and it's wrong.

The media is WRONG to portray any sexual situation where one person forces another! People should all write letters of protest, stop watching the movies and shows that depict this, stop buying products that advertise during such a tv show or movie, and any other forms of giving them the message that we can figure out.
A woman who "cries out" during rape is most likely to be making sounds of agony, or pain, or frustration.... NOT ecstacy.
People need to learn that No means NO!!!

Rape is not about the relationship between the two people, but about the willingness of the people involved. If you are unwilling, and the other person doesn't respect that and forces you to have sex with them, then it is rape regardless of whether you don't know them, are friends with them, are dating them or are married to them. It is an awful message, but there are plenty of awful messages on tv and movies, like theft, murder..... etc. Can ALL of that really be censored?

I definately see what you're saying. we see a lot of things on tv that send mixed messages. but any time a man forces a woman into doing something that she's said no to, it's most certainly rape, and that's a crime. even if he's her boyfriend or her husband. no means no.
this is a very good question, and I think it will cause a lot of people to think.

Yes, a girlfriend can be raped by his boyfriend- No is NO. I didn't see any of the media that you are speaking of, but I think it is definitely sending the wrong message-or is being used to soften or misconstrue what has actually happened- A RAPE is a RAPE. I don't believe any woman could enjoy sex that was forced upon her be it her boyfriend or rapist- unless she is sadistic and is into that kind of thing.

if a man forces himself on a girl against her consent then it is called RAPE....no matter if d girl is his girlfriend or wife...there is a term called marital rape which means raping a wife.....rape is the worst offence against a woman and i think its a pity tht movies treat this issue wit such callous manner. if u want to watch a movie tht depicts rape in all its ugliness, watch The Accused...
but yes sumtimes couples do indulge in role play, and if tht is tht case then i think we shud l;et it reamin a personal choice....

YES!! aq boyfriend CAN rape his girlfriend. As far as the media is concerned be aware that certain movies are for adults. As far as a scene like that everyone has different sexual prferences. Some people like it rough and there is noyhing wrong with that.

depends on the woman.. and the mood really..
ummm....
cause i like to play rough so that would turn me on. but i know my best friend in the whole wide world...
she would be turned off an scared by an sort of rough play. so she is easy victim when the guy gets frisky.
of course if a woman were just playing resistant then...
yeah she will like it.
but...........
if the woman is not ready 4 that sort of thing or the couple don't have an understanding with each other about those sort of sexual things then YES a guy can rape his girlfriend i believe.

If a woman says no and the man ignores her, than it's rape. No matter the situation.
