in powerpoint how do you get a song to play through like the first 9 slides and then stop at slide 10?

Hi there I am trying to figure out how to crunch a song into the first 9 slides of a powerpoint presentation anyone wanna help me.

I got the song to play in the first slide by inserting sound file but in the next slide it starts all over again please help!

Try starting no sound in 10
Ok Little Help
Under Slide Show
Then Slide Transition
Select tile 10
Under Modify Transition Sound
STOP SOUND
Use can also start new sound if you want.

once you convey song into PowerPoint message looks at which point you p.c. to have song performed immediately. Then click on the icon and in the toolbarin the sound team of icons click on the downward arrow on the immediately button and right down to for the time of all slides. The song will then play over the entire presentation.

You can try putting it on the master slide, but I don't know how to stop it at slide 10.

I dont think this can be done easily. Check into creating a visual basic macro that will start/stop on cue.

The only other way I would know of would be to use Macromedia Flash. This I know for a fact will do, but is not your usual application.
