a common hindu does not wear a turban but on special occassions like on marriage groom has to wear a turban and the one who is performing last rituals of parents/family must wear a turban.

also the priests are supposed to wear a turban or cover their heads while performing rituals

But the turban of hindus is always white and is worn in a different style than sikhs

It is not in their traditional day-t--attire. But on marriage time and other occassions like performing poojas, the practice of wearing a headdress was common.
