My son is four, and wears Pull ups to sleep- he is never dry and even with them on still leaks by morning. I know I don't give him drinks before bed and limit him in the evening. He goes before bed but still he is never dry. I don't want the alarm system, but I dont know what to do.

I have the same issues with my son. the only thing that we got to somewhat work was limiting drinks after 6 and having him go be every 20 minutes for about 1 to 2 hrs before bed.

Drinking water or milk before bed is not a problem. They are supposed to drink & eat as they like. Please don’t restrict them. But make sure that, your kid will use toilet before bed, minimum 2 times between 10 P.M & 4 A.M. If U fell its pain 4 U, No choice you should do this. Initially it’s bit pain full task. Ongoing they will learn and they won’t ask U. We practiced this with our kid @ his age of 18 Months. Now he is 30 Months. He won’t make us to wake us @ any time. He will use toilet his own, flush, On Off lights & close doors. We saved lot of $$ on dippers & bed sheets. Good luck.

Have may lack a hormone that triggers the bladder to shut down so to speak for the night. My daughter did the same thing. She was put on a hormone known as D.D.A.V.P. It comes in pill or nasal spray. It worked a miracle for her. She eventually started producing the hormone naturally on her own. Talk to your doctor about this. Good Luck to you!!
