Im still young {15} but i have no faith although i believe. Im coufused about life { its not because im a teen} I think that part of the reason is i feel i have nothing to live for. Im not suicidal but i dont see a point in living. I have had so much tragety in my 15 years that i have lost all faith. I have went to 2 diffrent churches. One i was at till i was 9 but the pastors wife accidently burnt me with a hot glue gun and she refused to let me call my mom and let me cry in front of at least 30 pepole. So a few years ago i went back but to a diffrent church and they seperated whites from blacks and that ment that i had to be seperated from my cousion because they thought that i was white. We sat through a 5 hour service { it was easter} and it was the worst exepreince in my life. So, i dont go to church. When i was 8 i saw my great grandma dead on our couch. It was terrifying. And ever since then i have had nightmares about her. Countinued

If you believe, you have faith. It is only by faith that one can believe anything. I think that what you are saying, instead, is that you have no ‘religion’ and this would lead us to the bigger question which is: What do you really believe? But, now isn't the time to go searching for the answer to that problem - you've got something more important, some real issues, to deal with first.

What you don't seem to have, (and it's something that no amount of belief, faith or religion is going to be able to give to you,) is a reasonable degree of support from a reasonable group of people who are able to understand your difficulties and who are willing to lend a hand or a shoulder to rest upon when the situations of your life seem at their worst. What you seem to need is 'a family' - a group of people who are closer to you than anyone else could ever be - people who will never leave you and who will love you without any strings attached.

Searching out a new church, (and a good church this time,) may be the answer for you, or it may not. You can find just as much support from a good friend or two or from any group of decent people… a group of friends on a bowling team could be just as good as anything else. But whatever you choose to do, and wherever you seek your support, I hope that you realize that you are a very strong person to have survived the things you've reported to us here; so, before anything else, give yourself credit, you've earned it. In addition, I hope you’ll realize that by sharing your difficult experiences here you've already taken the first giant step to feeling better about having had to face them at all.

Seeking people you can trust to share the private moments of your life, the burdens and the triumphs and the joys… all of it, is what you need to do now. So, begin looking for a support group. Look for your very own special 'family' ... and make it one that you like. Be careful about who you choose and about why you choose tham… If you don’t feel like you fit in or if you don’t like something about a group or an individual, believe in yourself and keep looking around… Trust yourself. There are plenty of places and groups out there and, believe me, you’ll find the one that’s just right for you. Most of all... you must be the one who does the choosing - don't be fooled by a 'grab-em-up-group' who might only want you for the head count and the offering. Choose for yourself, selfishly, very selfishly, and you'll be making the right choice.

Good luck to you in this and in all that you hope for in the future... I think you'll be just fine from now on.

Please do not think that God took away your world. When I was a teen I grew up with no father. I was a odd teenager who everybody teased. I was so badly treated that I thought about committing suicide all the time. I had no real friends. During this time, I went to church and I looked for answers all the time and I never got any. I often questioned God and asked Him why did you make me this way, so lonely and despised. Then one day someone told me the reason my life is the way it is is because there is greatness down on the inside of me and the devil did not want me to find that out. Once I got that revelation, God turned my life around from what seem to be hell during my teen years. When you grow up in the church, the devil sees your opportunity to be great and he attacks you. He' after your walk with God. If you keep seeking God, I promise you. God will reveal Himself in a way that will blow your mind. You will find your purpose, healing, and strength to live this life. Because of what I went through as a teenager, God used me to reach teenagers who were abused, raped, molested, and forsaken by there parents and lead them to the Lord. If you do not give up, God will use you draw souls unto Him, through what you have suffered. Be encouraged.

I think you do have faith and that you do believe. I would suggest that you go on a quest for knowledge for your self. In James 1:3 it says that if a man (or young woman) lack knowledge let him (or her) ask of God. God isn't an unknowable monster who rewards some and then punishes others for no reason. Read the bible look to other sources as well. Despite what some may say the Bible is not the only book god has given us. I wish you all the luck.

Our faith is only in God and not even in churches. The world is not a great place to be especialy when we feel like our childhood has been lost. But blaming God just because you can't find anything else to blame only makes life worse because God is the source of all good.

Since churches have turned you off for the present, let me give you an alternative. There is a woman who had a really horrible childhood even though she was seeking God. She now is a great helping others to get into the good life from God.

Her name is Joyce Meyer and she teaches on TV quite often and has some really good books which might help you . www.joycemeyer.org might tell you when she is on and a list of her book. I'm not associated with her but have seen her often and have learned much from a couple of her books. She is a true Christian who knows God....and as far as I know is not part of any one denomination of Christianity.

A book which might help is "The Battlefield of the Mind" and is often in WalMart ....or a Christian bookstore.

Meanwhile, begin to spend some time with God in prayer. Tell Him what is going on in your life and ask for His help. He does love you as His daughter and is powerfu in the lives of those who trust in Him to work for their good.

May God bless you.

Believe in yourself, and the spirit of greatness which runs through you. Of course an all powerful, all benevolent God does not exist, but the spirit of compassion does. Do not abandon this, you cannot go wrong either way. Feel free to email me.

It sounds like you have been hurt a lot. I understand it. But God has a blessing for you, keep searching for a church.

In my hometown, we are integrated. My best friend's baby is bi-racial and we have a lot of interracial couples.

I'm assembly of God and we have the same kind of teaching on these things. perhaps it would be helpful.

May God bless you.

Don't you worry about a thing. It happens like this when you're young especially in teenage years. However, no matter whatever age you are just remember that if You just hang onto God, you'll grab a firm hand hold taht will never let you fall,no go astray nor let your footsteps falter. God is our protecting Friend, our Helper, Guardian, Nourisher and Sustainer. So just calm down and relax, you have a whol elife spread ahead of you waiting to be utalized purposefully, for fulfilling that purpose for which God created you. That purpose too would be known to you, by God when the time comes. Just know that with God by your side you never have to be alone. I don't want to give you a boring lecture. Just wanted you to establish your tie with God AlMighty. The following passage is an exceprt from a book by a famour author, give it a reading or visit the website if you feel like reading more. Take care and God will Bless. Don't worry.
Belief and Non-Belief of GOD
The One and Alone Holy GOD

Even the attributes of GOD are not GOD, such as knowledge of GOD or power of GOD. GOD created all, about which one can think and which mortal makes with thought even that can never be considered as GOD.
Ideas of a mortal are just like the hands of mortal and with such hands mortal cannot touch the creator of thoughts.
Materials of the thought are all created elements and GOD is not made of elements. The birds of thought can never fly over GOD, but they fly over God’s Kingdom only. GOD is Holier than that because GOD is not man-thought or man made. GOD created the mortal and mortal cannot create even a seed. GOD can never be encircled or compassed even with the belief of infinity, because GOD is absolute in existence, beyond lies and truth. GOD is a fact in reality believed or not. All minds are cosmic and all brains are universal with the power of consciousness.
Eyes see more than the ears that hear and all minds think more than the eyes that see. And man makes not the real but the images only. And images keep on changing being images. And things resembles not with GOD. GOD is untouched, unseen, and unfelt. GOD is just believed or un-believed and un-belief of GOD is another belief that is again directly concerned to GOD. And belief is an answered satisfaction of the believers questions concerned with existence. A non-believer cannot see what a believer can see. Believer can see GOD but not with the eyes and can hear GOD but not with ears, but with the heart who believes. Seeing is realizing and realizing is seeing GOD, not more than belief one can have as a proof of one’s own being. Simply if we exist GOD exist.

There are nine apples, choose one of them to eat. See how you select and then ponder over your selection.

1-First apple is having a worm inside and worm is eating it and worm is visible.

2-Second Apple is pressed by others and spoiled by others and has become rubbish.

3-Third apple contains stains on it and also in it.

4-Forth apple is an apple but is not of its natural shape.

5-Fifth one is an apple who is eaten by the birds and has bites marks on it.

6-Sixth apple is golden of its kind but is unripe so it looks green.

7-Seventh apple is already sold to someone.

8-Eighth apple is a good apple but the shopkeeper is using it for the sale of his apples by making the customers to taste it slices by slice.

9-The ninth apple is fully ripe, well colored and beautiful in appearance and good in its flavor and taste and is best among all.

These are totally nine apples with there apparent qualities. Which one you will select and what type of apple you will reject?

The reason to you this example of selection, is to make you understand that How God will judge and chose the righteous people on the day of judgement for heavens.

When the teacher stopped telling so, a student asked:
Dear Sir, WHY YOU GAVE THE EXAMPLE OF APPLES?
The teacher replied, all these apples are like MORTALS.

1-The first one is a mortal whom his worldly desires are finishing up and who has fully forgotten the Day of Judgment.

2-The second one is a mortal who follows the Evil of others and has become a devil in fact.

3-The third one is a mortal who commits all type of sins.

4-The forth one is a mortal who follows not his nature positively and follows the negativity of Evil doers.

5-The fifth one is a mortal whom devils have made a sinner and criminal.

6-The sixth one is a mortal who lacks in believe and puts no effort to become a righteous one.
7-The seventh one is a mortal who is a mental slave of Evil wishes and evildoers.

8-The Eighth one is a good mortal who is being used by the Evil for the wrong cause.

9-The ninth one is the righteous mortal who is righteous in deeds and rightly guided by the GOD in every way of his life and is an ideal of its own kind.

Ponder over all the above mentioned kinds of human beings and "SEE WHICH TYPE OF MORTAL YOU ARE? GOD WILL CHOOSE THE SAME WAY, YOU CHOOSE.
After choosing an apple ponder over your way of selection and then see how you judge the one for you. I tell you the truth .The way you choose good fruit from a fruit basket and reject spoiled fruit and throw it away. The same way GOD will do on the Day of Judgment, so work hard to be a righteous mortal and remember and remember what I have told you.
