G'day Eva G,

Thank you for your question.

You might want to get checked for diabetes. Alternatively, you can find ways to eat sweet stuff that aren't so fattening such as fruit every three to four hours. You can also set yourself a target of having a small sweet treat per day within your diet.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards

For the last week I have been craving chocolate. A friend brought over two Lindt truffles this afternoon. I sat down and savored them. Craving gone.

If you are craving sweets, figure out exactly what you want, get the best that you can, and have a small serving. Bring friends to share it with if necessary.

If you feel deprived, you will just completely pig out.

Eat what you want - but just have a little bit, and choose the healthiest version available. Denying your cravings will only make them stronger and you'll make up for it by binging on things you don't want, so go ahead and give in - just do it conscientiously.

Get a load of celery. Distract yourself with playing with your mate....cards....chess....sex...table tennis or anything. Also, visit a psych for additional answers.
