me and my girlfriend are in a "distant" relationship i tell her all the time that she is beautiful, gorgeous, that she brings light to a dark day, that i cant get her off my mind, stuff like that but lately ive wanted to say something but my mind has gone blank and all i can say is that she is too beautiful for words. is there anything else i can tell her without it sounding like a line?

I used to be in a long-distance relationship too. My boyfriend always told me the same things you say to your girlfriend and I must say it helped a lot. So keep saying those things even if sometimes it sounds like a scratched record already.

For me, it also helped that my boyfriend always told me that he trusts me and asks me to trust him too...that things will be all right...that we will be together soon...that we must be strong for our relationship...that he's happy with me and hopes I'm happy with him too...that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me...that he loves me and treasures what we have...that he respects me and my decisions...that I should do all the things I've always wanted to do (in my career)...

Wow! There's loads of things you can tell your girlfriend you know. But I guess it boils down to one thing...assure her that you will always be there for her, no matter what.

Good luck!

For someone who is such a darling to me;

So often things get in the way of all we really want to say to those whose thoughtful ways we treasure so...

I'm grateful for the times we're share, yet, sometimes find it hard to let you know... but you will always be a part of all that I hold so close in heart, for you mean more than words ever say.

You always find a way to help me out to give & share, you always find the time to talk a while, to just be there & though I may not always find the words to show I care, I hope, within your heart, you'll always know.

You are the best thing that ever happened to me!

I've never been so much impressed with what men say to me as what they do. One of the sweetest things my boyfriend has done - and this was recently - was to drive 30km in each direction on snow-covered roads to pick up a new bed for my new place... and then load it into my apartment for me - by himself (I wasn't in town) - in -10 degrees Celsius (-20 with the wind chill) weather. Just so I could get a good deal on a new bed.

He is a sweetheart.

You complete me, jk, lol. The sweetest thing my BF has ever said to me wasn't really him saying anything... When I was gone on vacation for Thanksgiving, he had sent me a recording of a song to wake up to! When I woke up, I checked my messages, and your beautiful started playing. Made me so happy!

Sounds like you've tried the right words.
Is it her and not you.
She may think she is above you and in turn, your words don't come up to her level.
i.e. If you say something nice to the president, it is not going to mean much coming from a guy on the street.

It's been said that you tell beautiful girls they're smart, and smart girls they're beautiful. When you get a compliment that's different (but hopefully sincere), it stands out more. Beautiful people already know that people think that, try to find out what she most values about herself and compliment that.

I just can't find anything just right to say to you, you are just something so precious it's like if i come too close or even stay too far...you'll break...I pray every day for you, for us...that our relationship won't shatter to pieces, that i'll finally have that 'thing' that will allow me to have you and not fear at all that I'll break you. You'll just be that precious gem of mine...forever...
