That depinds on what the foundation is made of . Pier and beam maybe not so good because of the settling and movement.
Slab foundation at least 5inches thick shouldnt be a problem.

Another thing is Comps or comparisons. When it's time to sell you are going to need and appraisal. They are going to base your house again athers in the neighborhood. Even if you spend all this money to make it this best house you will not neccesarily get you money out of it. They compare the value to other houses and is there are no other houses similar to your you will lose money.

Maybe not what you were looking for but wantedto toss is out there and an FYI.

it also depends on where you live,if you are in a warm climate ....no problem....if you are not you may want to consider in floor heat as the granite floor can be mighty cold.
