In response to Mintee, the Torah says plenty about owning slaves and subordination of women. 'All men created equal' is not from there, and I think it's interesting how people try to implant it into it.

For the question, there's a ceremony to bless new buildings, including people's homes, when they tack up the mezuzot. So it shouldn't really matter who makes the building, as long as it's approved and blessed. No one would hesitate to drink water from a dirty river if it were purified first.

I dont think that was Moses' idea.. That was some later innovation added by some Rabbi.. or top religious leader.. Surely the followers of Jewish faith dont feel God created subordinate humans for their labor... He created us all equal... What makes us different is the level of faith we have, otherwise we are equal
