Men have a more considerable amount of testosterone with is one of the factors in hair loss, that's why women who carry a higher amount of this hormone may experiance hairloss the same way a man does.

Sure. Same reason women get pregnant and men don't. It all goes back to hormones and testosterone and the fact that they are male and males are subject to male-pattern baldness.
