my friend would like to know, what is a very good idea yo revove really thick callouses? and my friend has callouses on the top of her feet and on her knees....and she says her legs and feet are really ugly, and i would like to help her feel more confident and more pretty about herself.

The best way to remove calluses is to first soak for a long time in a warm water bath (add some bath salts if you like) and then scrub lightly with a smooth pumice stone.

Keep in mind that calluses are growths of the skin. Cutting them off is foolish, as you can cut too deep and then reach viable skin, leading to scarring and the potential for infection. But with rubbing, you know to stop when it starts to feel sensitive.

It may take a few treatments to really work a callus off.

I would suggest using one of those pumice stones, or foot files on the feet, but on the legs i would say lotion up with some really nice lotion. Get some exfoliating scrub too.
