It doesn't annoy me at all, it makes me feel bad for the person who believes that though, because it shows me they don't know the Truth.

That's an interesting question, because while it doesn't bother Christians that someone else thinks we're "going to hell" or whatever they want to think, I always get from atheists and such that it bothers them we think they are going to hell. If they don't beleive we're right, why should it bother them what we think? If anything, they should feel bad that we don't understand the "truth" that they are so comfortable in. I think the thing is that they're not really comfortable in what they believe.

So again, no, it doesn't bother me what others think will happen to me because I'm a Christian. I have enough of a belief that it wouldn't bother me what others think.

Why don't you just ask them if it would upset them?

So speaking as a Christian, if a Muslim tells me that they will pray for me to Allah, I will just tell them thank you. Even if I think their prayers are to a false God I'm not going to respond angrily, prayer is a kind action, and I'm not going to get all defensive about it. If they say "God bless you" I'll repeat it back. Its just kindness.

I think the idea that you would pray for someone whether Christian or not would be considered a blessing to the person you said the prayer for because you thought enough of them to pray. Whether you believe in your God or they in theirs shouldn't annoy them. Whether it gets answered though is up to God.

I suppose some it would. It wouldn't offend me. I don't believe allah exhists but a muslim does and praying for another is an act of love, even if I belleve they are in error. I would rather have a muslim pray to a god I didn't believe in than have a muslim say hateful things to me.

Depends on the spirit in which it was stated. I wish ppl a merry christmas cos it's that time of year but i don't proceed to preach about the evils of corporate santa clause and that they should be thankful for jesus. If you're praying cos you pray for ppl it wouldn't bother them (unless they're fanatical). But if it's like - "you're an infidel and i'll pray you change your religion" they'd probably be annoyed.

For me it would not be annoying. I would see it as an act of loving kindness or compassion. If I were in the situation though I would be praying for that Muslim as well, that they would get to know God as I do and find salvation. I would pray for their problems or worries.

I guess a good rule of thumb is to treat others as you would be treated. If you are someone who would be offended or annoyed or feel the need to be argumentitive to someone of another faith if they offered to pray for you, then my answer would be pray for them and just don't say anything. Prayer works, whether someone knows you are doing it or not.

If you are someone who would be gracious to someone of another faith if they offered to pray for you than I would feel comfortable telling that person. However, be prepared for anything, there are crazy people in every family of faith.

Thanks for a good question.

It wouldn't annoy me and I'm a Christian. I would accept the other person's good wishes for my well being. I would thank them and ask them if they would like to talk about Jesus and what they thought about how they were going to be justified before God on the day of judgment apart from his sacrifice on our behalf.

Prayers are less annoying than getting beheaded in the name of Allah.

It wouldn't annoy me. My relationship with God is my relationship and they could pray to whatever or whoever they wanted and it doesn't change the fact that only ONE God, MY God, has complete control over my life. Would it bother you if I prayed to God for you?

I hope not because plenty of Christians here pray for random people. Personally I'd take it as a compliment.
