1. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY WEIRD PROGRAMS

This is not a serious issue. Windows has had a error and its very easy to fix.

In Windows XP:

1. Right Click an empty part of your Taskbar
[This is the horizontal bar at the bottom of your screen where your Start button is]

2. Click Task Manager
[Opens a list of running tasks/programs]

3. Click the Applications Tab
[Shows active programs - Chat , Internet Explorer etc ]

4. Click New Task
[Opens a new task if needed ]

5. Type "explorer"
[Without quotations ]

6. Press Enter

Windows Explorer should now be running.

Also if your task bar is suddenly missing due to this error, Go to My Computer and do the same thing.

If this continues or does not fix the problem, restart Windows. IF it persists, I strongly recommend performing an antivirus scan as this may be an infection of malicious harmful software.

Hope it helps

You can try this in case essential files are not restored at startup:
Open Word
click Help
click Detect and Repair

It Is Possible That You Have A Virus
If it doesn't help I would seriously consider taking it to a tech and having them do a backup, and reinstall of your operating system. This may sound silly but be sure to tell them you want all your My Documents and Desltop Items Put Back On Your PC.Hope This Helps You
