This is a 2 part question. I met this girl a couple of weeks ago. Her name is Ally. I think that she is amazing, so I asked her to join me for dinner. She declined, saying that she didnt feel comfortable going out with someone who she has just met. I think she is the most beautiful thing in the world, in both mind and body, and that is a strange thing for me to say, as I am generally not romantic, and look down on relationships as wastes of my time. But I feel that I would happy with her, because the minutes that I am with her are the happiest of my life, and the minutes I am without her, I am waiting to see her again. So, what I am asking is when she says she is uncomfortable going to dinner with me because she just met me, does that mean that she might be comfortable with me in the future? Or, is this her way of saying, "get lost"? Second, should I wait on her? I really feel that I should, but my friends tell me not to.

Talk to her more and get to know her better. Then, she'll see what kind of a person you are and she'll decide whether she likes you or not. Just give it time and I'm sure things will work out.

Find out if there is some one special in her life.

If not, ask her what it would take for her to get to know you better.
