He never really like to dress neatly or take fashion seriously, but now he wears expensive designer jeans, buttoned shirt or solid color sweater with a sport or leather jacket. He now smokes cigars and wear expensive cologne. He basically look like a model now. He also seems to not being able to keep tracks of any girls he is talking to and doesn't know if he's in relationship or not.

He never dress up or smoke when he moved out to attend college. He has been gone since last summer, now he come back like this. Is something going on with him? I find this odd, should I be suspicous?

I don't have kids. But a few questiosn i would ask myself if i did have kids who were doing this. A, do they have a LEGAL job that poays well enoguh to afford these nice clothings. If not, ask is there a place where he could get these thigns for cheaper. Thrift store/Consignment store, Online Auctions? Maybe they are knock offs of the real thing. If they arn't, well does he have a rich girlfriend? But as you say he can't keep track of girls he is with. Kinda sounds liek adrug dealer or pinp to me.. But hten again i don't have kids, but if i knew anyone like this who changed so suddenly in one year i wuld be asking questions too and until he could prove otherwise these woould be the conclusions i was coming to...

Sorry if this doesn't help.

Well it sounds like he's "flaunting" getting it in good with girls, and looking like what most girls like, Good looks, and looking like he has money, strutting his stuff. Just be yourself, and ask him what in the world is he doing, don't ask it like you are nitpicking him, but more or less just joking with him, like "what are you trying to do burn down the house, put on some better clothing" then ask him how he got that stuff, like I said don't do it in a way of nitpicking, but more of a motherly jokingly way.

Well people change...maybe he's trying something new? I think the best way to approch this is asking him what's up, but don't repremand him for anything.
