Anonymously buy him a stick of deodorant. Attach a little card and sign it "From a friend." He should get the hint.

I agree this is a supervisor's duty, but the proper protocol is:
Give a warning that what you are going to say is personal, Like "I know this is going to be uncomfortable for you, and for me as well" this sets the tone. The most politically correct way to phrase the problem is " Sometimes the odor of your body is too noticeable" the key words here are sometimes and too. this is the best way to say it. It's not easy

Before you do, find out if he has a gland problem. Cause you don't want to be the jerk to say something then find out that he knows and can't do anything about it. It could also be a religious thing that he doesn't wear deodorant.
Other than that, be nice, tell him he's a great guy just smells.

You don't. You have a chat with you boss and ask the boss to tell him. My husband had to do that once. It's hard, but it's all part of making the work environment pleasant. It's possible your co-worker has a medical problem causing this odor. That's why the boss should mention it and not you.

you may deliver him an e mail from an anoymous e mail account, telling him that. OR. you may do purely like that: He: Kissing you. You: Oh, with the aid of how, i have been examining yesteday about how onion and garlic are nutrious, yet have some "unfavourable effects". He: Such what? You: Their scent is amazingly sturdy, that they stay the entire day, once you've them on the breakfast, and some human beings do unlike their scent. c?

There is really no great way..
Just pull them aside one day and try to say it in the best way possible
"hey Joe, I feel awful having to bring this up, but I noticed you have a very strong body odor. I dont want to hurt you, but I am really concerned.. Have you noticed also?"
maybe he is aware and trying his best, but sometimes hormones in men just surge and no amount of bathing and deoterant covers this up... ... Just try to be polite when you talk to him.. but make sure its out of earshot of others..

well start out with " idont mean to be rude" then you could even say "i had the same problem til i tried this .. whatever brand.deodarant" sometimes if you put yourself "with them" it takes away the "judgement" you know? good luck and even if he's slightly affended you dont deserve to suffer.right?
