About a week and a half ago I noticed a small bump on my scrotum (not actual testicle). It did not hurt at first, but now there is pain in both my testicles and groin area and I've felt a little sick. The doctor thought it was not cancerous but mayber an infection or something, so he prescibed a Mupirocin ointment for me to use for ten days, I'm on my 5th day, it still hurts. Could this be cancer (I am 14 by the way). The lump has not gotten any bigger, and there is not any lumps on my actual testicle.

Please HELP!!!!

My friend got testicular cancer when he was 15. He thought nothing of it till it was HUGE. He left it too late and nearly died. He got cancer in 6 different organs from leaving it. It's a miracle he's still alive but if you don't want that to happen to you check it out. I can't think of anything else it might be so DEFFINATELY get another opinion. I hope your'e OK. Don't regret leaving it too late!

Call your Dr and tell him you are in pain (this is very important for him to know) He may want to check it out again and try something else. Just be careful and still follow his directions till then. I hope you feel better..

If your doctor didn't think it was cancerous...relax...most antibiotics don't even start to work for 4 or 5 days.

See another doctor for a second opinion.
