Can you explain why you get the idea that anyone who professes a faith of any kind (Jew, Christian, Muslim) can be an athiest?

As generation after generation, people just don't take things are seriously. Also, the ones that saw God's miracles were a few thousand years ago. None of today's Jews witnessed it; therefore, they didn't believe that there is a God. They just think that it's some made up history. Or they don't have any faith.
It's similar as if we had Christian parents, and the next generation they don't take it seriously and they don't go to church. Then, the generation after that are no longer Christians since they never learned anything about their religion.

Have you read the old testament? There's a lot there to swallow. Christians and Muslims glaze over or ignore much of the Old Testament, but for Jews, thats all there is. Also, Jews tend to be smart. Also, with all the anti-semetism in the world, some feel its safer to not openly acknowledge their faith and claim to be atheists instead.

I don't think a majority of them are atheists. However, it does seem that a large number of high profile Jews are. I think it must be something like the phenomenon of preachers' kids being the most rebellious. -yk

P.S. "Jew" is more than a religous label. It is genetic and cultural as well. The idea that one cannot be a Jew if one does not adhere to Judaism is a very recent one.

they are athiests, they have not got self assurance there's a God,that is that straightforward. as properly this, incredibly i don't likely pay attention nor see athiests appearing extra stronger to religious communities. It perhaps which you're putting your self of their realm of conversations and so evidently to you that their evaluations are extra radical than religious communities. have faith me people who're in religious communities do the comparable if not extra. Athiests probable sense the comparable way you sense approximately religious communities because of the fact the type you sense approximately athiests. via the way i'm not an athiests.

There are like 50 million Jews or something. They are in Asia, Africa, The Middle East, Europe and the Americas. No it doesn't seem like they are atheists, it seems like you are making a really broad sweeping stereotype that is based on watching Seinfeld or something.

Huh? This doesn't seem to make seance.
Jew- person who is of the religion of Judah
Atheist-persons not inclined toward religious belief
Do you mean that not many Jews are practicing? Because if so I think that lots of people of lots of religions don't practice their religion perfectly.

How can someone be Jewish and also be Atheist? It's not possible seeing that Atheists don't believe in God or Satan when, in fact Jews do.
