Also back of calves excrutiating if bumped like on the back of stairs, or if scraped. Pain can last for several minutes and its severe. Arms and rest of body similar but not as severe. Hurts like hell to be prodded anywhere. Seriously sick of this and very worried. Appreciate any advice

Check out something called "RND"... Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy. Just go onto the internet and read all about it! Also, have you been checked for diabetes? 40% of people have it and don't know it. Sometimes diabetics get something called neuropathy (severe pain). If you're diabetic and maybe even if you aren't, check out polyneuropathy. Neither of these answers are nice if you have them, but since you're worried, get it checked out. Nothing's worse than worrying about your health!

What Chotpeper and Answers said. It sounds like something is awry with your nervous system: You shouldn't be experiencing that much pain just from a minor bump or scrape.

Good luck!
