I did once in the YMCA after swimming it was a little girl maybe around 6 years old with gray eyes and a torn white nightgown. I was glued to her eyes but not scared i felt paralyzed. I remember nudging my best friend to look at her. She finally did as i turned away and my best friend saw the side of her. We were the only ones in the locker room and the pool was locked. We checked all over the locker room and asked security guarding the door upstairs. They thought we were crazy. But i know what i saw. Only thing is I never understood why she showed herself to me or what happened. I never returned to that YMCA ever again to this day. Whats your story??

I have seen several spirits, that some may call ghosts, in the forests... but I see them differently than ghosts.
But there was a night in 1993. in Portland-OR when I saw a ghost. It was late at night and I was walking around a friends house when I saw a woman without a face standing inside of the garage. The garage was pitch black but I could see her clearly. She wore a white dress and seemed to be hovering above the floor. I froze in my tracks and stared at her for about 10 seconds before she faded away into the darkness before my eyes.
Yeah... no face. Freaky stuff that will give you the heebee-jeebies, like eating a spider's egg sac.

I have a friend who has encountered this a couple times. She seems to think that these folks just don't know how to get 'home' and she explains to them that they are dead and that they should go toward the light. That has helped a few - some told her they never heard of it and they would try. Mostly they thank her for telling them. A child would appear to someone she might be comfortable with, like another girl or nice seeming woman - she would not likely appear to an authority figure. She might still be there not knowing what to do to move on.

It was an evil angel. They do that to a lot of people. Often times they impersonate a specific person, such as a relative. The dead are in the grave, but many people pretty much worship the "spirits" of the dead. Expect to see a big increase in that sort of stuff as the time of Jesus's return draws near.

A word to the wise. When we encounter ghosts or spirits keep this in mind. Especially if it looks like a relative or someone you knew. When we pass on there is only two destinations, Heaven and hell. Our spirits can not be caught between dimensions or trapped in limbo. The Bible refers to these spirits as familiar spirits. They will take on the identity of someone, but don't be fooled, these are demonic spirits no matter how harmless they may seem.

well that is not near as traumatic as seeing your own dead body laying right in front of you in vietnam. thinking this can't be happening to me i am a son with an athiest father..
