treat him to a new actvity that you have never been done before... go swimming, arcade, billiards, malling, watching movie.... (boy's activities)
or if u want have time to talk about things.. maybe there are things that he wants and you don't know them yet.

I think there is something unseemly happening in your boyfriends life. Either it's his family, his friends or maybe it's his own life. Also I doubt it's anything wrong with your relationship, because if it had anything to do with you, than he wouldn't still hang out with you and show through his actions (holding your hand) that he still cares about you. Also I think his physical actions signify that he needs you and cares about you.
Don't take it personally that he's taking his anger out on you. Sit him down and tell him: I care about you alot and it's worrying me alot that you're in a bad mood all the time, I want to help, if theres anything I can do please let me know I'd feel greatful. Yet if he doesn't say anything, don't push him. Let him know you're there for him despite his confiding his problems in you or not. Most likely after a couple of days he will tell you. Good Lluck.

sorry to say but it sounds like if he will tell you that something you are doing is bothering him but then says he doesn't care about it anymore is really sounds like he's trying to get you to leave him. A relationship takes work and if he's not willing to work on it then there is no sense in sticking around. Why waste your time on a dud when there are plenty other guys out there willing to treat you better?

Break it off, he's trying to be the "nice-guy" and not hurt you. he doesn't sound into you honey. Let him off the hook and yourself, get it over with. break up
