Do I need to go for shots every year if I have a hepatitis B partner?

I'm not sure about your situation, but I'll tell you what I do know. My husband is in the Army, and he gets Hep B shots more than quarterly. My children got three boosters, but my oldest got a fourth before going to middle school.
So, it seems you can get them pretty much whenever.
Years ago, we took our kids to the Dept of Health for vaccinations. We found out this was free, and done on a walk-in basis. I would recommend contacting your local Dept of Health.
If your partner is Hep B, you really need to know how to keep yourself protected, right?

After 3 shots, get your antibody titre done. If it is sufficiently high, you have lifelong immunity and you do not need any more shots.
