Funniest answer I heard was ' God put the remains there to test our faith.' Almost fell of my barstool laughing at that one.

There is no record of the actual time span of creation other than seven days. The Bible does not clarify how long these days were, but in places tells us a day to God can be a period between one thousand years and seven thousand years. God has never done anything in a haphazard way, but in a clear and logical manner, so it is very logical to assume the dinosaurs were created as a way to prepare the earth for the future. The problem between science and religion is the fact science claims dinosaurs existed billions of years ago, but they have no way to prove it. Carbon dating is based on a flawed theory, where the control levels used for comparisons are assumed to be at least one billion years old rather than the actual maximum time the earth has existed. As an example, if a group of people (scientists) decided and item that weighed 1 lb. weighed 10 lbs, then a object that weighed 5 lbs. would be said to weigh 50 lbs. rather than 5. The standard used for comparison was flawed, so the actual weight of every other item is flawed when compared to the standard. This is how carbon dating is flawed, since the earth was actually created around 42,000 years prior to the creation of Adam (7,000 year day X 6 days of creation). If science would accept this fact, they could establish a more realistic standard for carbon dating and their results would finally start to show some consistency. Of course, scientists have far too much faith to believe in creation. They prefer the incalculable odds that not only did life develop from a random source, but that the first forms of life defied all the laws of science and logic, and not only survived on the first try, but developed with no disease or destruction of any kind, a condition which is impossible according to their own rules.

Not all Christians believe that dinosaurs and humans coexisted. I've been a Christian my entire life, but I am also an avid amateur student of paleontology and I am well aware that dinosaurs pre-dated human beings.
Christians that believe dinosaurs and humans coexisted are going by the literal interpretation of the Bible - that the Earth was created in six twenty-four hour days. However, if you read Genesis metaphorically you can see how science and Christianity can peacefully coexist (unlike man and dinosaur). :)

Yes I beleive they did coexist. Thats the only way to explain them. Shortly after the flood of Noah, the dinosaurs were released into the world which had a much different atomsphere then what they could handle. The air pressure went down dramaticlly and some of them may have died from suffication. Back in medieval times many people would hunt them down for prizes. So anything could have killed them off.

If they believe in them at all they would have to go back in Genesis before the Creation of ADAM . Where it says that there were giant beasts roaming the Earth. But that would have been before the First "world" flood maybe.
As for your second sentence. Go back to the Exile from the Garden of EDEN . ADAM and family meet other tribes outside of the GARDEN. So how could they have been the first humans on Earth? Couldn't be. The First of the race we call Israelites yes. Since there is mention in the Bible of some such animals then there must have been intelligent beings around to hand these words down to others.
Where did these other tribes come from ? and who made them? also how long before ADAM had they been around?

The devil does it. God told the devil he could make weird things that confuse humans and confound their faith. Why, cause God isn't too happy with the stupidity and idiocy and stubbornness of humans, and from what I hear that's also due to the fact that humans masturbate. When God found out about that he hit the roof, and it never ceases to disgust him even today. Not to mention the fact that many humans are queer. God put a lot of confidence in Moses many years ago only to find out that he was a queer. Humans have been nothing but a miserable disappointment to God.
God now lets the devil do stuff, like making fake fossils; and you can imagine a lot of angels up there laughing in their sleeves to watch scientists trying to figure out all this crazy stuff.
Does that answer your question? Now read your Bible.

There are 3 heaven and earth ages, same heaven and earth but different ages.
II Pet.3:5-7 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
……………………………………….
THE WORLD THAT THEN WAS
Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
To that earth age the world that then was, belongs all fossils and remains. Scientific estimates or guesses; universe or heavens 20 billion years old, earth 4.6 billion years old, moon 200 to 300 million years younger than earth, dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago, Ice Age 2.5 million years ago.
………………………………………………………………
BEING OVERFLOWED WITH WATER PERISHED
Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
AND THE EARTH WAS
The word “was” (hayah) in Hebrew, was not distinguished by the Revisers, that is the verb “to be” from “to become”. The same Hebrew word “hayah” is translated “became” in Gen.2:7.
AND THE EARTH BECAME
WITHOUT FORM H8414 tohu (to'-hoo) From an unused root meaning to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), that is, desert; figuratively a worthless thing; adverbially in vain: - confusion, empty place, without form, nothing, (thing of) nought, vain, vanity, waste, wilderness.
VOID H922 bohu (bo'-hoo) From an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, that is, (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin: - emptiness, void.
AND THE EARTH BECAME DESOLATE AND EMPTY
Earth was not created that way but became desolate and empty due to Satan’s rebellion. A global overflowing of water, but not Noah’s deluge. Darkness was upon the (face) of the deep, in other words the whole earth.
Into this we can read; dinosaur extinction, destruction of Atlantis, breakup of Gondwana Land, and the Ice Age.
………………………………………………………………………...
BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WHICH ARE NOW
Gen.1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen.1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
About 63 A.D. Peter writes, the heavens and the earth which are now. The heaven and earth age we are in now, today.
BY THE SAME WORD ARE KEPT IN STORE
RESERVED UNTO FIRE
AGAINST THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN
PERDITION G684 apoleia (ap-o'-li-a) From a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): - damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste.
Some will perish eternally and not see the third heaven and earth age.

Sure they did, why not?? Bears are here on earth and many other danger species that could do much harm to people, and sometimes do.
Dino's were here and some say they still are. There is a rare species living on an island near Indonesia. The good news is they no longer live as long as they did before the flood. Many reptiles continue to grow from birth until death. Because of this,we know the ages of many simply by measuring them. Before the flood they lived much longer and grew much bigger then they could today. When they were loaded on the Ark, the younger were taken for the ride because they were smaller and because they still had the ability to reproduce, which was necessary after to flood, to repopulate the earth.
But as most of us know, many species are extinct today, not just dinosaurs but other living creatures have ceased to exist. Today we have the ability to monitor nature and protect the "endangered species" to keep them from extinction.
So yes, they did exist and still do, they just don't live long enough to grow to the amazing giant size that they once did (before the flood).

No, I don't. I'm a born again Christian and a biologist. Dinosaurs were extinct for millions of years before primates, let alone humans, first appeared on earth. This is an irrefutable fact.

Well, my fundamentalist little sister told her kids with a straight face that Noah must not have had room on the Ark for them (which even her kid thought was silly because she had learned better in school), but I know lots of educated Christians who acknowledge the dinosaurs as being pre-historic and pre-bible.
Peace!
