Thank you for all your answers people one and all! I was asking because I just wanted to see how most people feel about it and how they would deal with this awsome happening to prepare themselves, I believe that the best way for someone to prepare themselves for anything is to learn as much as possible about it and then devise a plan, but from the answers I have so far most of you are not preparing by learning the facts about it rather than looking to movies and theories about how it is still millions of years away, but isn't that counting on false securities? The Bible says that it will come like a thief in the night, that to me says that like a thief comes when he is least expected to come so it will be With the day of the Anger of the Almighty God, just so when tit is least expected!and since most people think it will not come, and some say it will be millions of years before that day comes, this day may already be looming and it will surprise a lot of people.

I think it is something to be feared. I think it is something to be feared because I look at it as the end of the world. I see Armageddon as the time that will come that ends all that is evil and good. When Armageddon comes, you will never see your friends or family again. You will never see how your life could have been, and there will be no happy endings. The world will stop, and everything will die. That is why I think it shoud be feared.

Armageddon is the final battle between the forces of good(JESUS) and evil(devil), prophesied to occur at the end of the world. If you are taken in the rapture this battle happens just after the tribulation.. It is when JESUS and HIS saints come to earth and JESUS does battle with evil.. That will be a wonderful day.. Then JESUS will set up HIS kingdom here on earth..

Armageddon I dont believe in.(of course the world will end eventually but i dont think it will happen the way depicted in the bible)
People use armageddon to scare the hell out of people to join their religion.

But for the people who believe in it can be either a good or bad thing depending on various different things.
-I want to stay and explore the world
-I want to go and be with jesus
-I want to experience life on earth
-I want to get rid of my old worthless life and be in heaven in an eternal state of bliss.

If you truley belive in god or jesus then you wouldnt be afraid.

Its a movie with Bruce Willis, Steve Buscemi, Ben Affleck, Owen Wilson and Liv Tyler. It was something to be feared for sure especially because of that buffoon affleck.

The word Armageddon comes from the Bible book of Revelation, and it means God's war against the rebellious spirit creatures and humans who oppose him. If you are trying to serve him to the best of your ability, you need not fear it. Actually, I'm eagerly looking forward to it! (Don't let the media's use, actually MISUSE, of the word frighten you.)

For the true born again Christian, it's nothing to worry about, we won't be here. On the other hand, we care and worry that other people will be.
