I have owned this breed in the past and I am looking for another bullie. I cannot drive out of state or past San Francisco. Anyone know of a rescue?? I AM NOT INTERESTED IN PIT BULLS OR STAFFIES.

I'm confused by your question. There are Bull Terriers (Spud dogs), Staffordshire Bull Terriers (SBTs), AmStaffs and APBTs. I would contact the registry to find the national breed club to locate a breeder/rescuer, though. That should be the most effective.

Google resue shelters for the kind of dog you want and include your city and state when you google. There are plenty of sights for this type of thing. Also go online and look at your local shelters. You will be surprised at the wonderful dogs ppl throw away. But if you take on a pet, it is for life. I have 2 poodles and I have spent more then $20K on surgeries between the 2 of them but well worth it.

Try going to www.petfinder.com. They have a search option to find shelters/rescues for your area.
