APACHE INDIAN BREAD
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Mix these ingredients, add water settle at time until it becomes doughy, if it becomes sticky add more flour. Roll to 1/4 inch thick with rolling pin. Fry in skillet with melted lard 1/4 inch deep until golden brown. Top with honey.

Buy frozen bread dough at the store. Thaw and let raise to package directions. Punch dough down. Next heat frying oil either on stove or in fryer. You will need at least 3 inches of oil. When the oil is very hot, cut a piece of dough the size of a half dollar. Roll it into a ball and pull out flat, kind of like pizza dough. Then you must poke a hole in the dough before easing it gently into the oil. It will brown very fast. flip then brown the other side.
You can serve plain, with honey or powdered sugar or make indian tacos- pile regular taco fixings on top

Actually I think she wants to make Nan the bread eaten with Indian curry. You need a Tandorri oven. Just buy Pita bread in the supermarket its the same stuff.
