I experienced a transforming change of life through the name of Jesus Christ. I was a liar, a thief, a blasphemer, foul-mouthed, hateful, sexually abusive, rebellious, angry, fearful, cowardly, and on and on....and the power that is in the name of Jesus Christ has transformed me and changed all that. It started with a dramatic conversion experience and has continued to develop now for over 35 years.
All theological arguments aside - and I could give you a very good argument, but my defense is Jesus Christ gave me peace, assurance of forgiveness, confident expectation of heaven, and a love in my heart for God and man - even the stubborn ones who will hate me for testifying to these things !

Quran
False Messengers Incapable of Preaching the Worship of God ALONE*
[26:210] The devils can never reveal this.
[26:211] They neither would, nor could.
[26:212] For they are prevented from hearing.
[26:213] Therefore, do not idolize beside GOD any other god, lest you incur the retribution.
[3:2] GOD: there is no god except He; the Living, the Eternal.
[3:3] He sent down to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel (Prophet Jesus: Peace and Blessing be Upon him)
[3:4] before that, to guide the people, and He sent down the statute book. Those who disbelieve in GOD's revelations incur severe retribution. GOD is Almighty, Avenger.
[3:5] Nothing is hidden from GOD, on earth, or in the heaven.

Jesus foretold that three days after His death, He would rise from the Dead.
He did rise from the dead the third day, appeared over 40 days to a variety of people, including more than 500 at one time.
What He Foretold, that He did. It proved that he was a True Prophet and, more than that, He was and is GOD Incarnate.
If Mohommed, many years later, claims that Jesus was and is less than GOD, then you might conclude that Mohommed is a false teacher.

Most of the time I do think that they were true Prophets.
Both tried to tame down the fierce Abrahamic/Semitic peoples .. both with marginal success. There are still to this day blood thirsty folks (Muslim and Christian) who want to rape, pillage and kill in the name of god (put exact interpretation here)
And although there is some evidence that Jesus did not really exist .. certainly the teachings do and they motivate many people for the good and towards a better understanding of God.

Any time God sent a prophet and a book, people changed the words, the laws of God. they don't Accept all of them.
so because there was no printing, no too many books. the religious leaders tried to make it easy for rich people and allow things for them for some extra money.
In Islam, it is forbidden to drink alcohol, gamble, have sex outside marriage, have kids outside marriage, no usury, no eating pork no stealing in a business.....
If you see things being allowed. Know that God is free from these things, that's man's laws.
All the books are from God. but most of them are altered by man's hands. The Quran is the only revelation that still intouched.
the proof : there is one version only ,in arabic, no additions, no deletions, no mysteries < God is God, one and only>
God himself in the Quran says that he will protect this book until the end of time < if we see now, 1400 years passed, still the same in the world. it's a miracle>
We believe in all the prophets. even in the Bible Jesus is called a prophet, son of man. so the Quran is not wrong.
we believ in Jesus as a prophet from God, he will come in the end of time to brake the cross and unify all the beliefs and show the Christians and the jews that he is just a prophet from God.
Islam is not a new religion, Islam means surrender to the will of God < in arabic meaning> it is not a name after a tribe like judas, or a name like buddha or jesus peace be upon him.
All the prophets called for the worship of one God, and detroyed Idols, false god....
The Quran talk about the books and that they were changed during the time and lost.
like you see there is no original Bible. and the Quran talk about the Torat and Gospel, no trace for Bible anywhere.
The Quran is a recitation. God sent the angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad the Quran and to recite it to people. so there is no way that words can be changed, because the Quran was recited by many people before being written and protected.
Jesus is alive now, never died. God put somebody else in the cross and saved him. that's why he will comeback, to finish his mission.
Jesus is a word from God, like Adam the word and he was.
nothing is difficult for God.
the love of the Christians for jesus, made him the 2nd person of the trinity. while in Islam the holy spirit is just the angel gabriel.
I can say that God can guide people without holy spirit or son or...
Why God created us so?
Muhammad had many miracles, the best of them is the Quran. all the prophets were sent for a cetain people in a certain period, we can't see their miracles. but The Quran is the living miracles for all mankind until the end of time, that's why there is no more prophets after Muhammad < this is another miracle of Muhammad> we didn't see a new prophet yet with a book and many followers.
There is 1.6 billion muslims, not born muslims. many are Christians convert.
Islam is the only way to God, there is no many ways. just one stright path.
may God guide us all
Ameen

Who is to say anyone is a "false prophet"? Just because I don't agree with all of the Muslim teachings does not mean that Muhammed was a "false prophet". I personally believe that Muhammed was enlightened and wanted to bring others to that same enlightenment. What's wrong with that?
Contrary to popular belief, Christians, Jews and Muslims worship the same God. The only difference is the name given to Him. And that difference is the language in which His name is spoken. Eloheim or Elohi in Hebrew (Christians use the Hebrew name just like the Jews) and Allah (ancient Arabic for Muslims).
In my faith (LDS), we are encouraged to learn about other beliefs of other religions. I took a class a BYU entitled Religions of the World a few years ago and leared about the teachings of other Christian faiths, Buddism, Sihkism, Muslim, Judaism, etc...etc... We are all trying to get to the same place.
This is a debate that has been going on since the beginning of time. We today are not going to solve the problem of disagreement of religions unless we as individuals quit fighting over it. Christianity teaches that Christ said when asked what the most important law of God was: "Love the Lord thy God...and the second is like unto it, love thy neighbor as thyself." Let's just love everyone and allow them the same priviledge that we use and to worship as we choose according to our own conscious.

Thats a good question. Jesus was more of a promised messiah for the Jewish people rather than a prophet.
Mohommed was more a spiritual leader for the Islam religion.
Both would be true for their own religions.

To me, Jesus is the son of God, not a prophet. I believe this because I am a Christan. I also believe that Mohammad was a prophet of God, the reason that I believe this is because who am I to say that he was not?
