and being begotten of the Father?

God might have had more "son." and we are all sons of God but only one son is his true Son and only Begotten. Please read the bible more clearly then jumping to different conclusions.

if you're going to get that technical, then perhaps you should learn ancient hebrew and aramaic, what you're doing is giving your interpretation of someone else's interpretation of a translated version of a translation.
the hebrew word for son is ben, and "son" of God has a meaning closer to "servant" of God, rather than a literal son.
As far as "begotten"...... if you can understand that God speaks the word "Be" and it "becomes" or is "begotten"........ God spoke the word "Be" and Jesus came into being. He didn't literally come and impregnate Mary in person. I hope I have given you something to think about?

Well, you are both right and wrong, Jesus was THE ONLY SON BEFORE HE DIED. After he was resuscitated by The Father God, we all became equally sons and daughters of God. Read people, Read the WORD OF GOD.

I have a problem when people use words like "might be" or "could have" to explain something that they "think" happened.

Those are guessing words, not based on any real facts

I get your point but if there is no god there is no son.
