You want to know the scarey thing?

I actually had some Christian nut tell me that Disney was evil and all people worked for it would burn in hell. I'm not kidding. That actually happened.

You are totally on your own. Live a little. There is no harm in children falling into these wonderful worlds of imagination. I feel bad for anyone that every comes in close contact with you or anyone like you - and I feel bad for your children or your future children. You childhood must have been a very dismal one without Disney and their wonderful, magical works. Never once have I heard them personally say - or any of their movies say - forsake God and become a witch. That isn't their point. That, and the fact that Mary Poppins isn't even a real person. Go out and get a life. Meanwhile, I'm patiently waiting for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, watching the Sword and the Stone.

Give it a rest.
You probably don't even know what the word Witch was translated from in your Bible....

Did you know that the Three Wise Men were Astrologers? Will they burn in hell?

If God hates soothsayers, what were prophets?

Is "intuition" a sin?

So go ahead and damn Harry Potter. Call all works of fiction works of the Devil. Crucify Dan Brown. Kill the Pope. Slaughter the infidels.

While you're at it, why not start drowning, burning and pressing Witches again? Shoot.... Why not start killing anyone who doesn't go to a church that YOU approve of.... ****, they're all going to hell anyway, right?

Better yet, why not get ALL of the Churches to kill all of the people that don't believe the way they do, then we could have the first pure planet as all of us Hethen, Blasphemous, Evil, Vile, Adulterous, Homosexual, Wiccan, Errant and whatever else someone disagrees with will be DEAD?

Yup... you've got it right, anyone who doesn't believe as you do is evil, so why not have EVERYBODY kill everybody they believe is wrong?

You make as much sense as a tampon dispenser in a men's room.

Do you mean the person who played Mary Poppins, I agree that most of Disney's work involves things that oppose God's word, so just don't watch that stuff. Who are you to judge? Since when have you become able to read a person's heart condition, before you try to remove a splinter from your brother's eye, you should first remove the rafter from your own eye.

Mary Poppins is a nanny who inspires children to clean their rooms and to be polite through the magic of song. She never hurt anyone. Julie Andrews is a highly respected singer and actress and you wish you were Nicole Kidman. You're a very sad little witch!

Children believe in magic. And you want to tear away the innocence of magic from defenceless children? You're the freakin' witch - not Mary Poppins.

Mary Poppins was imaginary and could only burn in an Imaginary hell since she is not real. Its best not to confuse fiction with fact.
Judge not least ye be judged!
Why don't you write a new story where she repents and becomes a Christian? We don't have the right to take repentance away from the sinner Let God be the judge!

I'm in the middle of planning a trip to Disney so I don't think I can do that.

And Mary Poppins is FICTION....she can't burn in hell.

You are kidding, right? I certainly hope so! Disney is about the timelessness of fairy tales and imagination and the conquering of evil by good...remember, Disney did not "make up" these stories, they have been round, some of them, for centuries! If you consider "Mary Poppins" evil, than you have your head on WAY wrong!

I see no reason to boycott Disney over fictional characters. Parents can teach their children right from wrong and stress Christian family values. Disney is pure entertainment and fun.

If you believe in that kind of God; you are going to be sorely mistaken.

In the book of Leviticus where it says "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" they were NOT talking about witches. They were talking about people who poisoined water wells in the desert.

My relationship is with the God that Jesus knew. the God of love. mercy and forgiveness.

The law of Moses happened several thousand years before and they were not as spiritually evolved then; so God taught Moses spiritual truths according at his level of understanding.
