You need to buy a nice sized dog kennel for the house and keep him in there while you are away. If you put some blankets in there with him he is less likely to urinate. Dogs hate it when their owners leave them alone. A lot of times when the :"potty" it is due to their nerves. Try that and see if helps keep your house pee free.

You don't say how long you are gone. My neighbor had a min-pin that they had to woalk every 6 hours, or it peed in the house.

The vet says that small dogs are like that.

You should consider get a crate for the dog to stay in during the day or finding it another home where it can be cared for until it is adopted.

You will have to crate train him. After he pees, put him in the create for 30 minutes, then outside to pee. Also place the dog in the crate when you are gone. I do not like creates but sometimes they are necessary.

Try a belly band ,it is just something that goes around their little wee-wee and you can put soft tissue or diaper like material inside to keep him from wetting himself. You'll have to change it just like a baby but he can't pee where he pleases. You can cut the toe out of a mans sock and pull it up over his hips and around his little body and wee-wee.Much like an arm band only it is called a belly band.Good Luck !!!!!

Well that is happening because you didn't crate train. Smartest thing in the world to do. In no way cruel unless you leave dog there for something like 10 hours. My dogs loooove their crates, and no surprises when I come home! Dogs will not pee where they sleep. It's an easy fix.....and that way, there is no punishing for wrong behavior because it wont' happen.

Cage him while you're out. It may sound cruel to some people, but actually it is the safest place for him. Males like to mark territory, so if you have fostered before, he may be marking his territory on top of someone else's smell.(Not that anyone else has peed there, but he just smells other animals, period.)

Do you live alone? Well if you do, if a relative, is home then call him/her and ask, if you don't then look throughthe yellow pages, I'm sure you'll find someone there.

If your going to let ANIMALS into your HOME...

You're going to have to expect this.

There's a reason they are called "DUMB ANIMALS".

Personally, any occurrence of a pet PEE-ing in my home, would be their last.
