Understand the concept, "Who is God" and it would become simpler to understand God Almighty in its entirety.

God Almighty... a cluster of pure energy is but the sum total of all souls (atmans) in the cosmos at a given point of time. The essence of every soul (atman) being the same as God Almighty... every soul is but a minuscule God in its entity.

The moment the big bang occurs... all souls (atmans) existing in the Cosmos spread all over the cosmos with unimaginable speeds. The magnitude and the scale of the big bang are beyond the comprehension of the human beings to visualize. Nothing that exists in the cosmos in energy form can be visualized by the help of the senses and the mind.

This explosion of the big bang results in creation of a new cosmos... a new beginning! After billions of years when some planets become suitable for giving birth to life... the souls start manifesting body after another. And a planet like Mother Earth is born.

Now... what is this big bang theory! The big bang occurs in what! As has been defined above... the definition of God is, "the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos at a given point of time is what we know as God Almighty".

This cluster of pure energy we know as God accumulates in its absolute pure state only when the dissolution of the Cosmos occurs in its entirety. It is as if a huge cauldron of fire... a massive black hole has reduced the whole of the Cosmos to the size of half a thumb. It is this stage when every single soul atman in the Cosmos in whatever stage of life it may be liberates after gaining enlightenment and salvation. There is just no escape for the collapse of the whole of Cosmos has occurred.

As has been expressed by Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism that souls atmans in whatever stage of life they may be... continue their journey into the next Cosmos exactly from the point where they stood in the earlier manifestation is totally wrong. This is where the teachings of Jainism are flawed.

Bhagavad Gita... the sacred doctrine of Lord Krishna distinctly clarifies this point. And it is logical that when the collapse of the entire cosmos occurs... the question of souls remaining in their position as such and transitioning into the next Cosmos after the big bang occurs is but a flawed parable that defies all reasoning and logic.

The point of difference where Mahavira went wrong in understanding the teachings of Bhagavad Gita! The reason why Jainism branched into a new thinking pattern as advocated and doctored by Bhagwan Mahavira (the 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism) is evidenced here.

This cluster of pure energy... the sum total of all purified atmans in the Cosmos equals half the size of a thumb as has been clearly spelt out in the Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Mahabharata.

Unable to contain itself for long... this enormous source of pure energy explodes with a big bang giving birth to a new cosmos... a new journey! God Almighty is the source and the cause of the big bang. This theory of creationism is unpalatable by Scientists all over the world. Why? Science demands proofs and in the kingdom of God... it is absolute faith (in the system of God) that rules. More on who is god here- http://www.godrealized.org/god/who_is_god.html

Wow, it's been a while since I've heard this combination of arrogance and ignorance.

Man has never created anything. All man ever did was take what God created and used it for this purpose or for that purpose. Man could never imagine the ideas if God found in the Bible. If man did "create god," why would man give god attributes and actions that could not be explained, or that would not reflect well on God? It is more logical to create a God who is entirely logical and rational, but what we find are some things that are entirely illogical and paradoxical.

Man was created in the image of God. Genesis 1:26-27
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

The word here for "man" is Hebrew that sounds as "adam;" translates as man or mankind. The last time I checked, "man," or "mankind," sitll included women. It's not the Bible that excludes women, but a prejudiced world.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

The humankind created God would be precise.

Question is when did they. Well they did it half million years before or even way back.

As to the verse you quoted from scripture, it could possibly come from a bad translation from Latin or Greek.

God and Religion are both evolving inventions; as there are gods, there are goddesses for the solace of women.

Wow! you sure seem bitter. Sorry about that.

Now let's talk about image. Why do you think that means male or female?

Why have you (even in your thoughts) limited God's image to our mortal ideas of image.

God is a loving scientist from Planet H. The Universe is 13.7 billion years old. Planet H is about 13.2 billion years. Planet Earth, by all scientific evidence, is only 4.5 billion years old. What does that mean to you?

Evolution, given enough time, will reach its goal. If the theme (purpose) of evolution is to act, react, and adjust, in order for the survival of the fittest. And, if the fittest finally survives, What would be the next goal of evolution?

Have you guessed it? Might it be not only to survive and propogate and die, but survive and achieve eternal life?

Now, back to a planet that had a 9 billion year head start on Planet Earth. Mathematically, (do the math) once it started it would be 300,000 times more advanced than the time we started our evolution. More advanced Scientifically, technologically, and of course Evolutionarily.

Do you see where I am going with this?

OK, Ok, back to the image question.

Well Planet H did not have that Asteroid hit it (like it hit Earth)that killed those dinosaurs and other giant land animals 70 million years ago. So it's humans had to grow to near dinosaur size to evolve as humans.

I am trying to hurry so as not to bore you.

Well, miniaturization was required on Planet H, (you can imagine why)and it was supposed to be reversible for time to propogate. It, however, snafued and became irreversable. Humans on Planet H are presently our size.

Well when they sent God to create and find some new neighbors for them, They thought we might evolve to dinosaur size.

This gets lengthy - email me for an excerpt of my book "God's Ancestors.

So they told God to make sure that the new humans were not giant dinosaur size. When God explained the creation story to Mosses, ........ Well, he had to explain it in terms Mosses would understand. That's how got the term "in his image" it meant the same size as the Harmony-loving human sized inhabitants of Planet H.

Sorry for the rambling.

God wasn't created. He just is. "Man" as in the human race. I am a woman that is created in God's image.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

O ye people! Fear your Lord who created you from a single soul and of its kind created its mate, and from them twain spread many men and women; and fear God, in Whose name you appeal to one another, and fear him particularly respecting ties of kinship. Verily, God watches over you.
