How do philosophical concerns with religion differ from theological and evangelical concerns?

I think they do meet at one point or another. But theology still finds its basis on faith although it may use reason as a tool. On the other hand philosophy finds its basis on reason, and might sometimes concede that the heart has reasons that reason does not know.
