I found one on how to calculate mathematical pi by throwing frozen hot dogs. Seriously. And it works. It's in the Arvhives > How To section of ClassTopic.com.
Check out http://www.ClassTopic.com Each topic has three good sources to get you started on the research, too.

This needs to be something you like to do...so you can put your passion into the speech and demonstration. How about:
The process of organizing and prioritizing daily tasks? The process of researching something on Google....you could enlarge screen shots of improving search terms, narrowing your search: speech on Internet Search Engines; Or the process of an excellent manicure: research it (if you like to do your nails) get the rules for manicurists from your health department and make a great speech; The process of Coordinating an outfit if you like clothes [ learn about the colorwheel and use that in your demonstration] The process of using the new food pyramid to make a meal plan for a balanced diet that teens would like for a week. The process of organizing a closet [trust me, this is like a science...demonstrate or use pictures of some of the products that are out there and look at HGTV website for that} The process of finding the right hairstyle for your face {good websites on that, you can demonstrate with different facial shape pictures} The process of choosing a college - look at the college boards website; the process of financial aid- plenty of websites; the process of properly bathing a pet {could get messy} The process of planning a trip to a new city; the process of proper use of items in a first aid kit {red cross.org} The process of what to do if you are lost in an unfamiliar area {boys scouts, red cross} The process of preparing your vehicle with all items needed for a long road trip {this would be great...you could demonstrate a compass, changing a tire, tire pressure guage, etc.}
OK, my brain is taxed. Make this fun and use something you like!!!!
